A.M.E.N, the long-awaited debut album from reggae singjay Nesbeth, is slated for release next month. Produced for Entertainment Soul Limited, A.M.E.N is the acronym for the artiste’s wife, Ann Marie Elliot Nesbeth, who passed away due to cancer in 2016.
Nesbeth explained the inspiration behind the project.
“I was inspired by the Most High… Hopelessness is on the rise. As such, it will further increase if I should stand by and do nothing. As a result, A.M.E.N was conceptualised to inspire the world. The album speaks about struggles, discipline, innovation, love, truth, and rights.”
Co-written by Nesbeth and Merrick Shaw, the album features 14 tracks, including collaborations with Agent Sasco, Junior Reid and Popcaan.
The tracklisting includes Think Rich; Who Can Stop Me Now; Trial, featuring Popcaan; A.M.E.N; Diamond Boy; Success Story; Trench Town, featuring Agent Sasco, My Dream; Lawn Mower; Confidence, feturing Junior Reid; E motional Roller Coaster; Reason; Just Smile; and Remove My Enemies.
In support of the album, Nesbeth will embark on a promotional tour which kicks off on October 12 in Dallas, Texas. The tour will wrap on October 27 in Woodstock, New York.
