Industry players, fans and reggae lovers across the world are reacting to Busy Signal’s unfortunate arrest on Monday (21/05/12).

Busy, who had been on a tour in Amsterdam was picked up at the Norman Manley International Airport immediately after he stepped off a flight from the United Kingdom. His fans had this to say.

Reports are that Busy Signal was met on arrival by members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team, United States marshals and representatives of the British High Commission.

Busy Signal is expected to go before the court on Thursday, May 24, where he will be represented by Attorney At Law KD Knight. The request for the deejay comes approximately 10 years after it is said that he was allegedly implicated in a narcotics offence committed in Minnesota.

Busy is the third Jamaican reggae entertainer to be arrested recently for drug related activities in the US. Renowned reggae entertainers Denroy Morgan and Buju Banton were also held by US authorities.
