The murder case involving dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel, continued with the testimony of detective senior superintendent Corwall Bigga Ford.
During cross examination from Tom Tavares Finson, Bigga Ford testified that he did not complete the official statement for the arrest of Kartel on September 30 of 2011 until it was requested at December 14 that same year.
Ford admitted that his notepad with the notes of the September 30 arrest was lost during the relocation of the flying squad offices in late December 2011 early January 2012.
There was a slight delay in the start of the mornings proceedings as one of the accused men was late in being transferred from his lock-up to the court.
Shawn Storms attorney Miguel Lorne says with the evidence given over a one week, the prosecution is trying it’s best to put up a presentable case.
